COOKING TIPS
Mushrooms will stay fresh for SEVEN TO TEN DAYS. To store them, poke a hole in a paper bag and place them in the regular compartment of your fridge.

If any substrate is attached, simply cut it off with scissors or gently rub it clean just before cooking. Our mushrooms are cultivated indoors so there is no need to wash them!

Thoroughly cook all mushrooms before eating. The simplest way to cook our mushrooms is to saute them over medium heat in a skillet with a few tablespoons of butter or oil. Turn them until you get the texture you’d like. Cook in batches to avoid crowding the pan. Feel free to finish them in sea salt or add in flavor while cooking, like minced garlic, pepper or thyme.

Try them SAUTÉED, BREADED, STUFFED, BRAISED, ROASTED, GRILLED, boiled… I am sure we are missing a few techniques ;-)

FREEZING FRESH MUSHROOMS
Option 1: SAUTÉ OR BLANCH THE MUSHROOMS, then place in a freezer safe storage bag.

Option 2: SLICE, LAY flat on a COOKIE SHEET (NOT TOUCHING) and FREEZe. THEN transfer to a freezer safe storage bag.

TO PREPARE FROZEN MUSHROOMS - DO NOT THAW - HEAT OIL IN A PAN AND COOK FOR 30 SECONDS. REMOVE FROM HEAT AND LET MUSHROOMS FINISH COOKING ON THEIR OWN.

WE LOVE SEEING WHAT OUR CUSTOMERS CREATE. IF YOU HAVE A RECIPE YOU HAVE FALLEN IN LOVE WITH, PLEASE SHARE IT WITH US!
